Hickory Veterinary Hospital has a modern and welcoming facility conveniently located to southern Chesapeake and northern North Carolina patients. From the moment you walk in the door, you'll feel a sense of warmth and caring

 

Start out in our open and spacious waiting area. With plenty of room to explore, your pet will enjoy the big play area and the bright and sunny windows. You may encounter our resident greeter, Marvin, sleeping peacefully in the sun. Enjoy our aquarium or look at our "Hall of Fame" while you wait or browse our complete selection of quality pet foods and accessories..

We are proud of our facility and all the steps we've gone through to make sure your pet is comfortable and at-home.

BOARDING

If you need to board your pet, you'll be pleased with our climate-controlled, roomy kennel area and our large fenced-in grassy play area. For the safety and comfort of your pet, we adhere to a very strict set of boarding policies and procedures which ensures that your pet has a wonderful and pleasant stay. Your pet will enjoy fresh air and outdoor play time in our fenced-in play area. Additionally, we are happy to accomodate your pet's special dietary needs. All pets staying in our facility must be current on vaccinations and flea prevention.

GROOMING

Our groomer is looking forward to pampering your pet! We have a private grooming area

ON-SITE PHARMACY

With our on-site pharmacy, most prescriptions can be filled at the time of the office visit. By law we are only able to fill prescriptions for pets that have been examined by a veterinarian at our hospital within the past year.
